the scent of fall,

a vision in my mind,

a presence in my heart,

the cajun tastes of Dixie.

All keep you alive and with me.

 

I miss your counsel,

I so need a hug,

from arms strong,

tattooed with love.

I just have one wish

that you were here to comfort me.
