Hands stained red, just like the gauze
wrapped to look like a bouquet of roses
White cotton unsmeared with fresh blood
Appears to be white roses mingled with red
Spread out thin, but chunky and coagulated
Places I've never been before now
But this rage engulfs me and causes no shame
and I have nothing to do and no one to trust
Hold me tight dear one I need you again
I don't think I'll make it back...

This is so lovely and tragic. The last line really for me was a great ending, it sums up the emotions the narrator is felling perfectly. Great job.
