I Am the Walrus

If they are the Egg men,
and you are the Walrus,
where is the Zen?
the love that binds us?

where is the naughty boy,
who let his face grow long?
why is he so coy,
or is he simply headstrong?

what about the girl,
who let her knickers down?
did she go for a whirl,
on her way to the town?

when will the van come?
maybe if i start to hum.
the dead dog's eye
will look into the sty
and the guitars will continue to strum

standing in the English rain
where is the sun?
the joker's laugh brings pain
'cause the joker's no fun.
