There was once a woman,
She fell in love
with A young count,
But oh how unfair was this pair!
He went away on
the very day
of their wedding!
She was left there holding the pure white blooms
In the alter all alone,
Crying, and she held onto her flowers
And she vowed revenge
Blood was spilt
And then she killed herself
In grief and in mourn
The rose in her hands all the while
The blood that ran down her
chest and onto her flower
Was now inhereted throught the years
We call them "Blood red roses"

This is thought provoking to say the least. This seams to be a sort of fable, if you will, that seams so heart broken and genuine. Great poem.
