Looking out the window
Winter faded away
Leaving blossoming beauty
Wherever I go
Still I feel a little empty inside
Like winter still resides in my heart
Maybe I’ve lost my soul
Because I feel nothing
When I see flowers in bloom
I can see them
Right in front of me
But it makes no difference
Because I feel nothing in their presence
It just cements by belief
That I lost my humanity a long time ago
Because I’ve never been affected by a flower in bloom
And maybe that means my soul has never bloomed
Which explains this lack of feeling
Every time I see the first new flower of the season
It’s as if winter has never left at all

well done for Winter has become a part of us for several months - the cold, snow, muckyness, etc. There's nothing like the beauty of thr new blades if grass and other living blooms emergung from the ground with life. thank you for entering and many blessings always xxx

Bravo
This describes how I feel around the first few weeks of spring, fer sure. I don't know if that's how you intended it to be written, but that's how it ended up in my head.
