at night i lie awake
anticipating what the next day will bring
my craziness scares me into a straight jacket
the morning brings quiet
and i am alone
false security leads me to strip
the restraints of my mind
only to lead me
blind and clicking fingers
my mental madness manic
into bed again
tonight

Great write!
Short and simple, but full of wonderful imagery, I can really relate to this! Thanks for entering and sharing your poem,
