So noble
So proud
Yet so unsure
Of how to win over Marianne
You bide your time
Waiting for her to see
That Willouby is a cheat
You want her to find out on her own
You wait for her
So patiently
You are as bold
As to wish them happiness
And think nothing of yourself
But you will eventually get you dues
For being a wonderful, honest man
One day, Colonel
She will be yours

This was short. It gave show of the character Colonel Brandon though. It could have used more emotion of conveying Colonel Brandons love for Marianne.
Otherwise nicely done! -
Oh a great guy! I loved Alan Rickman in the role. Where would JA's novels be without such staunch gentlemen? Nice subject and good poem.
