Flowered fan hides the pale sad face
diamond clasp holds heart in place,
violet eyes drip unseen tears
secrets kept hidden through the years.
Fickle lover spies her dark look
slips treasured ring inside a book,
thumbs crisp pages their texture fine
cutting a silhouette divine.

This is wonderful in meter, rhyme and image. I see the judge likes it and she's the free verse queen around here. If you can impress her with a rhyme, you did very well.

My God...this is exquisite.
Thank you, thank you, for giving
me what I wanted to see...
