Killing Time

Do you know it's all for you
The words I write
The things I do
The songs I sing
The thoughts I think
You are everything to me
And everything I am
It's all for you

Do you know how much I love you
Every minute
Thinking of you
And killing time
With simple rhymes
Because I don't know how to show
And I'm afraid to let you know
How much I love you

Call me childish if you will
Too shy to tell you
How I feel
And losing you slowly
For fear of losing you

And just like every attempt I make
I end it before I've said what I came to say.

I hope you know when I say "I love you" I mean that and so much more.

Please tell me what you think

    HOODWINKED !!!

This poem expresses the awkward feeling of not being able or comfortable telling that someone special the burden of your devotion and love. Very easy to relate to. Well Done!

You have been Hoodwinked by the Poetic Bandits today because WE CARE.

This is amazing, every piece I've read of yours could be a song it seems, and I really like that about them. Your words are deep and speak with such truth, I love the feeling in this piece, you convey your emotions perfectly. I enjoyed reading this.
