As I walk to class I see you walking near.
Not near enough to call out without turning heads
Not far enough to keep out of my mind for even a moment while you're there
Your hair brushes against your face,
Your hat manages to keep it mostly tamed.
The way you walk enthuses me like a mystery hidden behind a door.
Your personality flows out of you with every step
But who really notices?
Your eyes are worth gazing into
I do when we speak, but then the power within them forces me to look away.
I try not to notice you too much
It's a hard thing to do
The way you speak, the way you move-it is addicting.
I can't help thinking of you
I want to, but I shouldn't.
Who you are attracts my attention
But you're forbidden.
I might as well be forbidden too.

Nice write, but I don't like the sentiments. What's the point in being so shy? If you're that serious about someone, make it known, ask them to do something. The worst they can do is say 'no,' which would parallel your not asking in the first place. If you know how you feel, act on it. End of story.
