An Artist is a wonderous thing!
He paints and paints, sometimes he sings!
Every time he puts on his show,
His face, we see glows!
Every compliment , makes him happy
Every critisism makes him think
But every insult makes him forlorn
You can see it all in his face.
His face, said I, is like his canvas
His eyes are his inspiration.
For they are the windows to his soul
And his soul is poured into the acrylics
And the brushes, sometimes in his lyrics!
And dashed, dabbled, drawn
Onto his masterpiece,
With a grace that's never before seen
As he's painting- oh the paintings!-
His eyes seem to gleam!
