Mom lift up your head, please stay strong

I have been there all along

Even when you wake and open your eyes

I'm the first one to hear your cries

Please don't be sad, know that I'm ok

I come to visit you every single day

Kisses with hugs are sent to you everynight

and I smile as I read the words that you write

Speak to the winds while thinking of me

I surely am there ...although you don't see

I'll never leave you, just look into the skies

for I don't believe in any ~Good-byes

There you'll always feel my image so clear

with "Mom I love you" whispered in your ear

    Beautiful And Heartfelt!!!

    Gets, You are always right there whenever someone is in need of comforting words and upfiting. Your words have such caring in them. You as a father who too has lost a son, I can feel your love in these words for your friend.
    You understand the feelings that you, Kelle and I feel. Our sons, three wonderful young men in Heaven and there parents conected and bonded here on earth through the friendship and poetry. I hope all has been well with you. I have missed you and your encouraging words. I do keep you in my thoughts and prayers my friend.

    So Very Beautiful

    Oh this is absolutely beautiful. I love the ryhme and flow of the poem here you wrote. I also love the beach and he one time wrote in the sand Mom I Love You! I miss his so much but like you sad in your poem my son said there are no good byes. This poem just touched my very heart and soul. It is beautiful and I will treasure this poem forever even in my darkest hours. You are ever so kind to write a poem for me when I'm grieving so much and some days are unbearable. It does it comes in waves. Well I'm a bit speechless, yet I wish you the best in the contest. Again thank you.
