Not A Dream

In the stillness of the night,
The faintest cool breeze on my neck,
The fog rises,
My dormant soul stretches its frost-bitten wings,
Dew drips from the long blades of grass,
Stars glimmer in the night sky,
Taking in one sweet wonderous breath,
The cool air flows through my body,
No moon in the sky,
No lights to lead my way,
The stars shine so bright,
Becoming my flashlight through the night,
If you listen closely,
You can hear the whispered song of angels,
My heart beats with the rhythm,
My soul replinishes with warmth,
In this serene moment,
I feel infinite.
