~ Indigo ~ "New Age Philosophy"

I thirst like the growing steam of a
flower,
I bloom into delicate petals, soft in tune
with the brightness around me.

( I see)

Drifting within the minds eyes
I hear the call of the crow, the whispers
of the trees.
I calculate the winds and feel the words
of talk.

( I hear)

Like the wild grass that grows spreading
in wildness, in scattered hues of  Ajna.
I understand.

( I have received Indigo)

New Age Philosophy

: The color electric indigo is used to symbolically represent the sixth chakra ( called Ajna) which is said
to include the third eye. This charka is believed to be related to intuition and gnosis (spiritual knowledge)
creating indigo auras.

I do like where you went with this -

    These lines in particular:

"I hear the call of the crow, the whispers
    of the trees.
I calculate the winds and feel the words
    of talk."

spoke to me on a personal level.

Thank you for your entry. Best of luck in the judging. ~Pamela

This verse vividly shows an awakening...
where one is open to seeing and listening
and then receiving the gifts of inner journey.
I feel the form adds strength to the "exploring"
    related within. Blessings, Blue

    in tune with the prompt

I must agree with the previous comments, so I will not repeat them.

This is so carefully written and shows the reader the essence of Ajna and the third eye.

You have chosen an unusual form which has worked well. It leaves me feeling a peace.

    I especially enjoyed this~

    "Drifting within the minds eyes
I hear the call of the crow, the whispers
    of the trees.
I calculate the winds and feel the words
    of talk."

Such a personal feeling of self awareness portrayed in this poem. Your truly are a wonderful writer.

i agree with CitrineSunrise in the use of parenthesis. .. the straightforwardness of what is in them after reading such beautiful imagery in the stanzas made this unique and wonderful to read. best of luck in the contest.

This is another beautiful tribute to Ajna and the third eye. I liked the judicious use of parenthesis to give this work added punch. Good luck in this contest. Peace, Liz
