"life is too short
to drink black coffee"
I made this quote one day,
was complaining about my coffee tasted,
nasty in a way.
My mom told me to add more sugar and some cream.
Then this quote came to me,
If you can't have everything
the way you want it to be,
you should at least have good coffee.
I try to live by this everyday,
I think it’s the serenity prayer
some things you cannot change,
you should change the things you can.
sit back and enjoy a good cup of coffee

A good cup of coffee makes my day. Your poem is a little happy thought that will run through my head as I sip my coffee with cream and sugar. Pleasant tone, almost conversational with a little homespun wisdom. Thanks for the read
