Torn between emotions
What is best for me?
Thought I’d worked it out
But hope still resides in me
Back and forth, pull
Just like a tug of war
Can’t make a clear decision
I miss you more and more
My head keeps saying no
It says it’s time to run
But then my heart confuses things
Still thinks that you’re the one
I can’t be clear and definite
When emotions tug at me
For now I best do nothing
Until I find some clarity

that tug od qwar between mind and heart. heart the seat of emotions, wants its way. mind knows more about life and what is the best move for you. at times none of us knows what is right. wishing you success in this contest and in your search of love and life.

this is good but might be improved by a bit of abstract structuring. This is one of those poems that might benefit from a visual representation as well as the words. but good write
