Pain to dwell deep,
Out of sight of others,
Masked routine and duty.
The heart drops and skips,
Missed beats left aside.
Stomach turns in agony,
And the head pounds in ache.
Emotions are heavy,
As the tears fall alone,
With no comfort found.
The body lays restless,
Another night passing,
Slower than the last.
The mind races,
With doubt and concern,
Worry and anger.
The future seen bright,
But unattainable.
Fallen heart beats reemerge,
And show the longing,
Of her love and embrace.
Purpose felt and duty called,
Left in solitude forgotten.
Times have changed,
But the emotion remains.
Magnified with longing for more.
Still images of remembrance,
And kind words of friendship,
Plague the soul who craves so much more.
The only one, for one, no other can replace.
No other seen to hold close this light irreplaceable.
What are the actions to take?
What are the words to speak?
How long can the strength hold this rejection?
Tears repeat, falling regularly,
The killing uncertainty,
Weakening muscles into despair.
If only eyes would meet again,
The sun would shine,
Another moment together,
Graced by heavens lace.
Heavy sighs heard by pillows,
Damp in sorrow and anguish,
Left helpless to the onslaught,
Looking for comfort and closeness,
Not found in this bed,
Not in these dreams.

This broke my heart into a million little peices. This was hard to read for me...I know this is raw emotions and that is the killer. A wonderfully done emotional read, I am in tears.
