Precious mother, I am doing all right.
I am embracing, Gods hand tonight.
I am watching from far above,
Yet blowing blessings to the ones I love.
Oh the struggles that I have seen
When you awaken from an awful dream.
Remembering the past and how I went
You cried until all your tears were spent.
I was blessed when I entered here,
He sweetly touched my cheek and erased my fear.
Immediately mom, I was so caught up in this place,
Passion entwined with love on His face.
A sweep of His hands and the Angels sang loud
Echoes vibrated the walls and formed a large crowd.
It's so cool mom, the way things are done,
Not a care or pain in sight, everyone’s having fun.
When the night closes, I am right there,
Listening with intent, the prayers you share.
I am glad I'm not forgotten mom, I miss you too,
But you know I am never gone, I live on through you.
So as my birthday is drawing near,
Don’t you even think about, shedding one tear
For it is a day we met mom, many years ago.
We were the life of the party, a two-man show.
As the wind blows on you as you walk in to the store,
It is I mom, who brushed your cheek once more.
Or the sun rays that shine down brightening your day,
It is my hidden message, being magically sent your way.
When you’re asleep and the evil tries to creep in,
It is through the memories, I conquer your demon.
So don’t ever fear that I am far from your side,
For within your golden heart, is where I reside.
