trapped in the chains
waiting to be set free
why wont you come get me
why wont you answer my plea
i gave you my heart
yet you tossed it away
you had little to care
and even less to say
i looked in your eyes
to find rejection staring back
you reached around my dying body
and put your hand inside my sack
you took out my heart
and saw the confusion in my face
you tossed it on the ground
and then took out the replace
you gave me back a new heart
yet told me new love was inside
i squeezed it to my chest
and watched it till it died
i never wanted a heart
unless it had your love inside...

Wow
I love it. Absolutly love it, because it is so true... When you love someone it don't matter what they have done, or what they say... Im sorry if I got off track on that rant back there, but once again I love it ^-^ good work.

sad
Hello there. This is a sad, emotional poem which concentrates on hurt feelings of rejection.
It's wrought and raw and hopefully therapeutic for you.
Have a recovering day,
BJ.
