Wonderful use of dark imagery. The flow and construction was excellent. It provided for interesting personal perspective. Thanks for the great read.

This is really powerful! I really like the emotion in this piece. My favorite lines are "I won't let you get to me anymore.. / I'm going to end this." I like those lines because they have a lot of emotion in them. The end line is also really powerful and emotional. The title is clichéd, but it reflects the poem well, so it works. Great job and good luck in the contest!

I can relate sooo much to this poem, had me in tears this is great and full of depth, emotion just carryies you though, straight to the heart of the reader! I enjoyed reading it

great write. i kinda went through the same thing with my b/f making me feel bad about things i had done before i even met him and i believed him and it ruined my self esteem...but this was awesome...way to express your feelings =]

My ex is a lot like this. I know how it feels. she would constantly put me down. Hurting me was a sport to her. Its obvious that these people aren't worth the tears that we cry, and yet we do it anyway. don't get discouraged, there are good people out there... somewhere. Keep Writing!

No guy is ever worth killing yourself over. I know that it hurts and you may think you want to die but is never the answer. You wrote that with amazing feeling.

Woa, dude that is almost exactly how I felt yesterday! Weird... I hope you get better though. Of course most people write better poetry when they are in a depressed state. So keep writing and hopefully you'll get better.

I've only read two suicide notes but both times they've broken my heart. I'm a complete stranger and if you can make me feel this sad and scared then just think what it will do to the people who love you. Ok that being said on the poetic side I really liked it (god I hate telling people I like hearing about their sadness but sorrow can be the most beautiful thing in the right light). Your allusions to the "edge" and then your telling of how you're just getting closer and closer really show the strength you have to pull away and the pain that keeps driving you back. It makes me sad that I can't send you something beautiful that will make you start loving life again and the fact that it does that makes it a special, special piece. Stay strong and keep fighting and writing on.
