leprekan, life should always be treated with caution, but paranoia stops it dead in it's tracks. Be wary, but overcome the fear

kneedeep, the best thing is that it doesn't take a drug to see that life is a four dimensional vision

It has been many years since I experienced this, but your poem reminds me of the goodness and power of it. Thank you.

patrick, the intention of lysergic acid was a gateway into realms of truth and awareness. From peyote to mescaline to 'magic' mushrooms, I see the world from the inside out

    My personal favorite of yours

It seems a good spoof of the beatles song, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Creative and fun and dangerous, but we've both been there and lived to tell and write about it. Well done, PlainOlJoe

Yes I understand everything in this poem. Yet I am struggling with O.O.B..... what does that stand for? I am thinking something to do with blotter, but am probably wrong. Yeah, I rode space mountain at Epcot 38 times straight on 13 hits of Gold Zodiac back in '87, permanently blackbook from Disney Corp. Hey, I didn't wanna stop riding until they forced me to.!!!!

    until exhale,

grimoire, O. O. B. (E.) is out of body experience. It can be achieved either on LSD or through a natural state of meditation. But it is a given when you're trippin'

Over my head, out of my era or out of my experiences. Im not sure lol. Everybody else seems to get it. It reads nice but I think I fail to see the deeper meaning.

The post itself deals with hallucinations from taking the drug LSD. It affects the thought processes strongly. You can get a good idea that this is what the content deals with by looking at the categories it is posted under beneath the author's name in the upper right hand corner. "lysergic memories"

Touch, there are good and bad sides to the use of of any drug, prescribed or otherwise. Back in my day, acid was pharmacuetically much more pure than the poisons on todays black market. When taken in moderation with the right frame of mind the resultant enlightments paved the way to quantum physics, the internet, and many other forms of entertainment the generation-X'rs enjoy today. However, as an ex-addict, I do not promote nor endorse the use of any illegal substance.

Mr.B, what is or is not reality is soley dependant on the observations of the viewer. However, in chemically altered states, only the higher truths of parallel existance can be understood. Not that I'm suggestion anyone delve in these matters by way of LSD, with the proper preparation through forms of ancient meditation they become apparent to anyone seeking enlightenment

I like the flow of this

Little bit Beatles and Moody Blues.
has some song like qualities with your metaphysical bent coming into play. I give it two thumbs up.

Amazira and don't forget a theme from Stairway to Heaven,
"casting shadows taller than the soul". The rythm here was inspired by the Beatles "Lucy in the Sky" and the metaphysical from The Moody Blues's "Legend of a Mind". Too bad I couldn't work in "Riders on the Sky"
