At the beach,
with the pure white sand,
I see you standing there,
waiting for me.
I run to you,
and you catch
me in your arms.
We walk along the sand,
our footprints imprinted there.
The ocean comes
and washes them away,
to remember us forever,
as it did everyone else
who went before us.
We draw a heart,
your feet much bigger
than mine.
The sun starts to set,
and you come in for the kiss.
I have to stand on your feet
just to reach you.
Your lips touch mine,
and your hand slides down my back,
the other caressing my wet hair.
We pull away, our faces
turning beet red.
Then we both smile,
and laugh.
We race into the ocean,
and then find each other underwater.
With your strong legs you propel us up and into the sky.
We spin around and fall back into the ocean;
this is definitely true love.
