Ball of confusion,
nothing appears quite right
I’m living in the dark,
never seeing the sunlight
My world upside down,
I live against the grain
The clock inside my head,
has got me confused again
No structure in my life,
as time just passes me by
I forgot to ask questions,
and now I’m wondering why
Sleep has become so precious,
cause I never get enough
My mind is going blank,
I’m feeling awfully rough
Don’t know if I’m coming,
or if I was ever going
My life is such a mess,
and never smooth flowing

You had some very nice lines in here, "I live against the grain" was my favorite. The rhyme didn't seem forced at all.
