Exposed to the light they fear condemnation,
this tempting love grows in passionate yearning.
Censured for their sin as they cover their nakedness,
judged and convicted, exiled from paradise.
His eyes show confusion as the enormity of his choice becomes clear,
yet he cannot let go as she clings, nudging in temptation's delight's.
Unable to look their Creator in the eye,
she covers her nudity encompassing his protection.
Now alone in a wilderness with only one another
their defiance now dictates a future of anguish and pain.
With merely one expectation they were deceived,
with words of guile she could not resist.
Her enticing curves and soft, tender words
weakened his resolve for she was his mate,
now forefathers of a life that coercion began.

Interesting and the best of your writes
A very unusual twist to the old story of deception. I believe we were set up... Adam is a male, its in his very nature to choose his mate over God. His very fabric, his soul, his animal responses, his heart, his mind and his daily bread are all part of the female. How could he choose otherwise? Obviously, he did not or you and I would not be here. We are told it was to kick him out of "eden", but maybe that too was a setup. For how could "eden" be eden when there was no procreation, no love, only commitment towards this eternal being. Ah! A puzzle to ponder on! (grin). Nice write Gal!
