Her kiss lingered upon my lips,
heady wine in tiny sips,
A gentle butterfly so sweet,
alighting with tender feet.

This goes just perfectly with the picture. Appreciate your stopping by and commenting on Comment Please this afternoon. - guess for you it is early morning, or late evening, not sure which. You have a lovely author page as well - wonderful colors and information.

wow, the poem portrays the picture beautifully. I love the drawing, it's so realistic, as is your poem. I applaud you, truly wonderfully, beautiful.

This is awesome!
How did you take 20 words and turn it into that amazing poem?
I'm envious!
I love your eloquent, langorous words... your soothing style... and mostly, your ability to create an image with your words.
Even if I'd never seen the pic, I'd have known what it looked like by your words.
Excellent write!

Thanks
Hi, thanks for the lovely review but I don't do many photo prompts now as they never seem to win a place, so I prefer writing something that tells more of a story and is more of a piece of poetry. Thanks for your generosity with the applause too.
