Where is your reason?

Missing image
Where is a reason
To hold my head up each day
To wrap my wrists
To face you each day

What is my reason?
To live this lie
To watch others knell n pray
That this evil be taken from our shores
To push them away

What is my reason to watch my sisters?
Be thrown around, beaten
Because we live in a world that allows
Men to hurt woman and children

What gives them he right?
To shove immigrants
From a shores
Just because they don’t look like us
Talk like us

What is your reason?
To act the way you do
To hide behind something
Those others follow
What gives you the right?
To preach at others
And wish them to hell

I give myself the reason
To stand up each day
Face those who wish to hurt me
Judge me for my looks
Clothes, beliefs

What is your reason?
To let others do
As they do

This is intense and passionate. You have a right to ask these questions. What does give others the right to judge critisize and harm others. These people are avoiding their biggest battle Kitten
    You are facing it
    Excellent and very thought provoking

I like this. The beginning I can really relate to personally. As well as the rest, with the political aspects. Me and my friend were talking about this last night actually, what reasons mean. If they are finite, what it means to change opinion, the implications of stances.... anyways, sorry for the tangent, but nice writing.
