So cruel to touch my skin.
So sick of your refreshment.
In a glass fortress,
I scream.
Stranded in your wild night,
I wander.
A shadow in your dreams
crowding your pleasures.
Sweating with your cure.
Creating our new disease.
Blending skin into nothing,
but a feeling.
Give me my hateful love
or loving hate.
A kiss.
We will be gone.
It’s our fate.
What do you think?

Wow!
I really like this!
The second verse is sooooo good!
This is one i missed.
You really hit that high note here...
all the trappings of that thin line...
Truthful and sultry.
but ya knew it a long lassie...
.....we will be gone....
.....it is our fate.....
just like a cork screw to the heart....
Love it! You have the style of a poet on fire.

The extremes of what we beleive is love is so distasteful and confusing. There are wonderful lines in this write. The writer is resigned to the less than perfect. So the writer receives the reward of what he or she accepts in this piece. You have delved recently into love lost, or love resented, or love that should never be, or love that is not love at all, but only the consequence of animal instinct interpreted as human love? Human love requires mutual respect, animal lust does not. Yet if the human spirit denigrates itself to accept animal love and then expect human love the mixture is lethal. You have accomplished a ripe table setting of this. I never know if your writing is personal or creative. RC

Hateful love is so painful. I have been there way too many times before.I like this part:
Sweating with your cure.
Creating our new disease.
Blending skin into nothing,
but a feeling.
