Captivating Sight
Walking the streets
I find myself marveling at the world
At the birds chirping
Winging from treetops to window sills
Only to fly away once more
And something catches my eye
A young woman
Pondering in deep thought
But I wander what about
As she gazes off into space
Contemplating all that surrounds her
She is perfect
In the nature of her beauty
Her golden tresses bound together
Revealing the lucious skin
A creamy silk covering her body
Concealed only by thin fabric
And accented by sharp heels
I gaze onward
For how long, I do not know
Trapped within her captivating sight
How I desired to know who she was
Where she'd come from
The places she would go
And the people she'd meet
For I wish to be one of them
To be one of those blessed few
To know her
As one would know any
And become the man in her life
But this isn't so
For she's up there
While I'm down here
So close together, yet a world away
But I am content
For see look upon such beauty
Is a gift in itself
And for a moment, just a moment
Her innocent eyes fall upon me
Peering through a forest of soft lashes
She smiles
Sharing with me a grin of shining pearls
Oh the joy I felt
As she gave me this moment
This union through sight,
A gift like none other
For I will remember her
The woman through the window,
An image of unrivaled perfection
In the days to come
In my life and the world ahead
