Ocean

Her blood spills the ink
For these words that I write
Shes the callico sheet
Which cloaks me at night

Like the earth, I succumb
To asphyxiate on her skies
As she rains down upon me
Tears bleed from my eyes

Im doused in her perfume
A bittersweet musk
For she is my ocean
From dawn until dusk

Without her, Im nothing
We're Venus and Mars
When there is but darkness
So bright shine the stars

This is a very good poem. I love all the figurative language and imagery, I thought it was used to great effect in this piece. Also, the words seemed to flow very well, indeed, making it easy to read. Great write!
