The Wait

The deed now is done, so I just sit and wait

waiting for the reaper to come unlock the gate

Time here was short, but filled with much pain

I sit here and wait in the storms pounding rain

Just a few more drops to end my suffering

waiting for the reaper and the oblivion he'll bring

No more disappointment to others I will be

so I sit here and wait for the ending of me

a few more drops..referring to what is in the vial in her left hand (someone asked)

Such a sorrow filled poem, goes hand in hand with the picture. Brilliantly penned. All the best in the contest with it
