A Union of Hope
From the Almighty above, I am blessed with the gift of love
A piece of Heaven bestowed upon the earth
Through friendship, family, romance, and more
An expression of joy in the companionship of man with one and other
A pure union that rescues me from the depths of solitary isolation
Breathing into me new life and revitalizing strength
Giving birth to hope in a beautiful light
And in my gratitude I share this gift
Spreading it to all that I meet
In the hopes it touches them, as it touched me
