If I could buy a dream
I would not ask for what you think
What I lost tore away my seams
Driving me to smoke and drink
I would want just one day
With someone I lost
With everything we meant to say
Without a single cost
That would be my dream of happiness
But I don’t think my dreams will come true
Instead I will visit the place you rest
The only place I’ll ever find you

your dream speaks of a lost loved one I feel. What better dream is there than to spend time with a much-loved person
before you meet again for the final time. thanks you for your entry, Von Oldpoetry

Thanks for your entry.
This is obviously a trageted poem and you have stuck firmly to your objective. Your rhyme scheme is basic but consistent and your mesage is clear.

I like it
I know exactly how you feel. Which is why I think this is pretty good. Nice Work
