life takes dancing

I look upon this,
this scar across my wrist
of times gone bye

I was that dark haired kid
a loner, no one cared what I did
Wallowing in self pity

Then I looked at myself in disgust
my mind was now too dark to trust
this dark little boy

so right then I made a gasp
knowing that happines was in my grasp
just a shuffle away

Skimming on the surface
not worryying who wins the race
makes for carefree joy

its just that nothing matters
except knowing nothing matters
It's my life
and I keep dancing through.

We talked about this one too, and although I still don't like the second to last stanza very much, I think the final stanza is perfect, and very well penned. I hope you do well in this contest and get many more trophies so everyone will know how amazing you are. I already know, but I see it again every day. I love you so much.

    all my love,
