My Friends Keep Me Alive

My world is crumbling down
The walls are caving in
I don't know how long I'll last
The lack of oxygen is suffocating

It's only a matter of time
Before I burst
Before I make my final leap
Into a deep dark pit of crazy,
Never to see the light

I know I'll die young
Wether it be accidental
Or by suicide
But no matter what it will be all my fault

I lie
I always cry
I want to die
I am going to fly

But then I see your warm smiling faces
And all these thoughts disapear
You free me from my insanity
And for that,
I love you forever

A contest entry

Let me know if anything sounds rough.

this is interesting, i more got the feeling (as your title says) that your friends keep you alive, rather than making you feel alive. which doesnt fit my contest overly well.
this is a good poem though. thanks heaps for entering!
