Wondering why........

I sit here rereading the prompt
for this contest,
wondering why the words
i wish to say i can not.

wondering why i cant write
the way i feel when
i see you smile
or when you laugh.

wondering why i cant express
my gratitude for you
just being in my life
and for your friendship.

wondering why i cant bear
to tell anyone how my heart
is bleeding and my soul is aching
because I'm holding it all in.

wondering why these thoughts of you
cause my eyes to water
and my heart to pound faster
and my palms to sweat.

wondering why this world is
so cruel that i cant tell you
how much i love you
with out me feeling your rejection.

wondering why its all unfair
that even if you feel the same
the love we could share
will always be hidden.

wondering why its so hard
to  pretend
that its ok your with
another.

but most of all
I wonder why after all this time
i cant even write about you
or how i feel when your 
all i ever think about.

    This subject I chose for: secret love, I chose it based on a poem I wrote recently... It would be very great if you could read it...Its called feelings

    awww, this was a really good poem. i know how you feel on this one, when you love someone so much and you cant stop thinking about them, sometimes it can be really stressful and confusing and you just wish that things would go your way. But we have to try and look on the bright side of things in life, look on the bright side of love, you know what they say ... good things come to those who wait, and if you wait, the right person will come along, dont worry. sorry this post was so long, lol. im done.
