The memories of yesteryear,
Are priceless gifts. . .
Money cannot buy or replace.
For they grow each day,
And are imprinted deep within our souls
So,
Let us dwell on only the good times
We spent with our loved ones,
Now departed beyond the veil--
To the spirit world around us.
Yes, good memories will last forever
And no one can take them away from us.
Therefore,
Continue living your normal life,
For our departed (ones) are still near.
And are now our Angels of Light.
Whom still love us as much,
As when they lived with us here.

Oh wow, this one hits home for me. This really touched my heart, remembering my loved ones who have passed, and how hard it is to get through those hard times.
I couldn't have said it better myself, as you did so beautifully in this poem. It's good to know that memories will always remain in our minds, and no one can take that away from us. I loved the ending

Great reminder to us all to cherish those we still have with us. We never know the moment they may be taken away no matter the age. Too often we get too wrapped up in ourselves and give no thought to how much these people mean to us until death takes them out of our lives. Thanks for the reminder. childlike faith
