While in my seat, serenity encompassed
with weight felt weightless
as Mind with Spirit meditated to picture

A feather floated onto my keyboard-
a hum heard in my right ear
like fluttering of wings outside my Mind's Eye.
Happy Birthday, lips in bow spoke
for Bubba to take notice even though we
never met nor crossed paths on this plane.
Fingers began to type-
express emotions while tears fell in drops.
Priceless thought for his mother- kissed down...
So young yet called into the Heavens
for angelic duties were already in place.
Did you know Bubba, how much you are missed?
The years passed, precious memories continue
to collect in treasure trove of your mother's heart.
Reminders everywhere she goes, everyday of you
and asking self- I wonder how my son is doing?
Can you hear me? - she wonders

March 27th, birthday candles will be lit
then blown with wishes cast on dove's wings
to be carried alongside the others
from previous celebrations.
I bet you always wanted to fly like Superman-
be invisible, wear a cloak to surprise loved ones.
Move things or elevate objects in the air.
Become the magician and mystify your audience.
Wish granted on the day of your birth, blessed
many felt when you arrived.
Ellan's best friend shared in the festivities.
Both you and her brought into this world, same month
also same day but separate years.

where arms extended to embrace you whole.
Bubba- you have imbedded handprints on Hearts of all
who have known, been touched by the Gifts
within your Spirit.
Fingerprints left to be immortalized a Hero-
Your physical self, rests in Peace where flowers bloom
around the aurae sprinkled on this Earth.
Your Spirit can be breathed in to give sustenance
within those who wait their turn to take your hand,
be embraced when Angels descend to accompany
them to your Sacred place of refuge.
