Missing image
As we entered the room
felt all eyes turn and look.

She walked over to a chair,
dragging her leg with the brace
her arm pinned against her side.

She felt different and very shy
children stared as she sat down.
One little girl walked over to her.

“Do you want to play with me?”
She had only one hand…

    I like the lonliness of this piece, the trepedation, the strength of that emotion, then the twist at the end.

    This highlights what we should be when we consider ourselves 'human' to see through eyes like that.

    Good write.
