A basket filled with Easter treats
Like jelly beans and marshmellow peeps
Big, chocolate bunnies with hallowed ears
Home grown memories for tender years
An Easter egg hunt for older eyes
Scramblin' 'round for their hidden surpise
They search so high, they explore real low
Running around as fast as they can go
Now, go on upstairs- let's all get dressed
My, don't we look dapper in our Sunday's best?
We go to church, we pray, we sing
To celebrate our almighty king
Off to Grammy's and an Easter feast
We say our prayers to give thanks, then eat
We savor time with our family and friends
As another wonderful Easter draws to an end...

Aw... I love this. Surprisingly this is the first easter poem that I read this year. I just don't like poems that relate to certain holiday or certain things... But, I perhaps I was brave enough to read this one.
I liked it. It was great... It really just put a great image of what easter was in my head... It just made me feel all warm inside

Yep, this is what Easter is about. Spending time with the family and having fun. This year has got to be the best one so far. My favourite lines are:
