Poor me
I sit and sulk
Why is it always me.
(Tunnel vision)
It’s all about me
Why?
I pass the homeless in the street,
pay a visit to an elderly friend,
hear about a disaster on the radio,
read about child abuse near by
learn of a tragic accident.
(Doors opens)
I have a roof over my head
and food in my belly
Life isn’t always fair,
But I’m not that bad off…
Author notes
OK here is the prompt:
I cried because I had no shoes
Until I met a man who had no feet!
