Darkness rains down
From the stars
Masking all but
Broken hearts
A pale boy
With watery eyes
Sits alone

Nightmares crawl

Tortured by these
Stagnant fears
His deep blue eyes

Seen by none
But the silent moon
Who accompanies his song
With her own sad tune
A beautiful harmony
Which binds them together
Such sorrowful lives
That stretch on forever
As he gazes upon
Her mysterious face
She takes him in
A close embrace
Enchanted by
Her nightly spell
Deeper and deeper
Inlove they fell
But as her strength grows
So his will fade
Their love
A tragic escapade
Drained of hope
He pines away
Broken by
The light of day
Without him
She'll run and hide
Beyond the darkest
Realms of night
