Nuggets of Gold

Missing image
each golden write
conceived through fecundity
was born from deity
as ode within heaven’s dome

where cradle song and fairyland
became un-mysteries of the universe
as prayer and rhyme
to soothe the heart

in subtle flight
words gave wing to pause
and thoughts through eye
reached depth of mind

echoes of storm
and nature’s silence
transformed into blessings
as leaflets of worded flow

now life’s fragrance
once caught as doves in contending pause
bear witness to heart and soul
as nuggets of gold

.

Author notes

I have viewed all of your 50 gold writes, and tried to piece together your words in flight, as the picture depicts. I salute your pause.

My God! Frans! I can't believe that you have had enough courrage to read them all. But, you took the best parts of them making a new Nuggets of Gold - your own - very shiny and precious poetry. Thank you.

    Beautiful

Wow this is a beautiful poem. So rich with imagery and emotion and the flow was flawless really. The picture is beautiful but your poem brings it to life. This is a lovely write all the way through.

How cleverly done! I simply love ...

the way in which you craft poetry like a goldsmith!
    Perfectly done.

Suggestion: perhaps the visitors to this website will benenfit if you give a link in your Author notes to the list of the poet's work, as well as her ID or full name.

Good luck in the contest, Frans ... for me this is a winner and honored the work of Sonja as a true trophy for her to keep.

    Blessed be,
    Myra
