The tears have been shed,
It's time, to take a breath.
Put on a happy face,
And walk out the door,
Rain, Sun, Wind or snow,
Feeling like its the first time felt,
Laugh, like I have never laughed before,
Play with my kids,
Until we fall into heaps on the floor.
Curl into my husbands arms,
like there is no tomorrow,
When there is no more,
24 hours, is all too short,
to live a life,
I havent lived before.

So true, this is me.
I like how you have expressed this. Reminds me of wanting to leave when you can't stay. -
Beautifully penned!
Such precious visions...of a family playing in the rain or snow together...you are so right when you say 24 hours just isn't enough time to live a life...so we all should try to squeeze as much into every minute to make each one it's very own memory!!
You have a wonderful talent with words!! Thank you for sharing such beautiful work with us all!!
