Protector guards while babes a-slumber
as darkness flies and lurks around,
against a backdrop of impenetrable walls,
a fortress of momentary sanctuary.
The future clear in pristine waters
laps in waiting for wisdom's wake,
to sail with waves of faith's true light
this duty of balancing harmony.
Until enlightenment wakes in vision
the custodian will keep alight serenity's fire.

Your words are very well chosen and depict the image well. I particularly enjoyed "momentary sanctuary." It grasps the life a wolf so well. Also, the most beautiful moments tend to be fleeting, and that is told so well in this piece. Well done
