When you need some love,
When you need to scream,
When you need to hide,
When you need to dream.
Mommy's always here.
When you need to collapse,
When you want to share your soul,
When you just want to be,
When you feel out of control.
Mommy's always here.
Whatever you may need, Wherever you go,
Whoever you become, I just want you to know--
I'll always be your Mommy.
I love WHO you are,
I'll never try to change you,
and I'll never be too far!
When you need to scream,
When you need to hide,
When you need to dream.
Mommy's always here.
When you need to collapse,
When you want to share your soul,
When you just want to be,
When you feel out of control.
Mommy's always here.
Whatever you may need, Wherever you go,
Whoever you become, I just want you to know--
I'll always be your Mommy.
I love WHO you are,
I'll never try to change you,
and I'll never be too far!

Excellent!
Wow...I was all over this. I have a 4 (just turned 5) year old daughter. She is past incredible (if you ask most partents I guess??? lol). I was in this 'til the end. Very sweet; engaging...your expression of love for your children leaked from my screen onto my desk. I think they'll love this when they read it for themselves. Great write here...

That is so beautiful, I am 35 with four children ages 14 13 10 and 8.... This is exactly the way that I feel about mines...
Very good! -
How wonderful these sentiments you have expressed for your children. Hope you read it to them some day. Even when the teen years come along you might post this on the fridge for all to see. These years can be very trying and I know you will always love them, but can you like them too when they get into those teen things? Hope so. Lovely poem written here.

You rock!
My sis Is The awesome-ist Mommy ever! I hope someday, maybe Ill be a great mommy like you!

Your children are well loved. What beautiful sentiments. Your children must be as sweet as my son is, though I can't imagine it (sorry, I'm biased). Help them stay, in some small way, the people they are today.
Thanks, CaliOkie.

well written words of love for your children. And they know now and will know. Youmay want to do them in sometimes, I had, oops have, 4 and we survived each other, even through the teen years.

Love love it!
Great one! -
Mums...they are like big old hearts in the sky.
You seem to have conveyed the ancient spirit of a mothers love. Never ending and undying.
What was that song...
Nobody will ever love ya like your mum,
even when she hits ya on the bum.
It's so hard to think how beautiful we start out,
until the big old world swallows ya up.
You have made me feel once again,
now Im going to call my blessed Irish mum, cuase im so lucky to still have her and tell her to come by for a pint and a hug...
Great poem, every word was warm and wonderful,
those kids are blessed lassie.
Blessings poetic gypsy,
