does anyone know what's going on?
can anyone see what we're doing wrong?
instead of making love we only create hate,
can we stop ourselves before it becomes too late?
we need to make peace instead of war,
because when you start violence you only get more.
so let's open up our hearts and minds,
leave all our senseless fighting behind.
innocent lives lost because we can't get along,
no one knows what it means to really be strong,
our hero fights with his gun and knife,
how can we trust a man who doesn't value life?
we fill our heads with violence till we believe that it's ok,
we need to wake up and realize things shouldn't be this way.
so grab you neighbor, become a friend,
that'd the only way the hate can end.

lol very different from what i usually write. basically i just want people to get along. im tired of watching the news and seeing our world fall apart because of hate.
