World Of Two

Missing image
Every evening as sun sets, his heart stops, awaiting her spirit.
Sensing a zephyr of wings whispering across his universe,
his own begins to pulse again in harmonic rhythms of memory's kiss.
Her star shines, stepping ephemerally from Heaven's gate,
softly fluttering her love in tender hues across his soul's expanse.
Orbs of majesty guard this fleeting moment,
where only two exist, in epiphany's embrace.

He will abide each twilight, simply for one more chance at paradise on earth.
