Split lips,
broken bones,
cracked ribs
and a warning.
Pain pills,
alcohol
forced sex.
Life.
Sexual deviancy
( at it's best )
memories of life spiraling.
( Sometimes it's best to keep
your mouth shut)
Will this ever stop?
( Too afraid to leave)
Will the next time this happens?
( I'm gonna die)
I walk a fine line
between being ok
and ready to jump...
I'm not sure about
my next move.
I'm a shadow
in the world.
Author notes
It's very simple and to the point. Sometimes the most hard hitting poems are simple.

Ouch
This poem is pain all wrapped up in words. You are rights about simple poems packing a punch. Well done, raw and emotional.
