It’s the awe inspiring things in life
The beautiful night sky blanketed with stars
The early morning sun peaking through the window
The blossoming trees and colorful flowers
That will all one day be forgotten
Because we will remember the simple things
The four of us will remember the little things
The simple pleasures of a close binding friendship
The “Mine and Yours” jokes accompanied by a little dice game
The silly nicknames and the heart warming smiles
The tender hugs given at just the right time
Will be the things that we will cherish the most
We’ll grow old one day and have separate lives of own
But we’ll still remember the simple things
We’ll constantly look back and think about the little things
The elf and her pet reindeer following close to the candy canes
The snack powwows underneath the counter while delaying our work
The ultimate CVS soundtrack heard over the in and out signal of our radio
Eating the awesome “cultural day” dinners crowded around the office desk
And when we sit back and think about these little things
