I t'ought I taw a puddy cat creeping up on me
T'was the Easter Bunny busy at work who had stopped to take a pee
So busy he was hiding colored eggs early this Easter morn
He didn't even notice the chaos when he forgot to shut the door to the barn
With the Easter Bunny hard at work it didn't even matter.
That all hell broke loose when out the door the animals began to scatter
The pigs got out and made a mess of granny's flower garden
But the Easter bunny was too busy hiding eggs to even beg a pardon
And then the sheep strolled out and ate all the farmer's new mown hay
Farmer Jack was upset and said who is to blame and who is going pay
The cow kicked over the milk bucket and scared Maid Jill away
But she didn't mind cause all she wanted was go off with Jack and play
To make matters worse, in broad day light, right here on Easter morn
The rabbits propagated fast and furious making bunnies yet to be born
All is quiet and well now things have settled down
Farmer Jack gave up the chase and took his Jill to town
The cow's leg has been hobbled and the sheep have all been caught
But the pigs did a number on granny's garden plot
Sated bunnies are all sleeping after a hard day's night
And the sun's coming up making the new day so lovely and bright
Hide your eyes my little children don't even sneak a peek
The Easter Bunny's almost done hiding the last egg as we speak.

I think this pretty much fits the bill of all the suggestions on subject matter...a little of this and a little of that...nothing too serious but all of it is a true memory from my child hood...just ask Catz and she will confirm it..Would I lie to my partners...!
as to my back ground...this is the Easter Bunny in disguise...and those are easter eggs he is holding...

Okay...it didn't really happen this way but most of it is true...just the part about the sun rise is made up...actually there was a blizzard and the eggs all got lost in the snow drift and the Easter Bunny was white and he got lost also and was never found til summer when the snow melted and they, the kids looking for eggs, found him but he had on those silly green and red tights so they thought he was an elf left over from Christmas so they gave him to Rudolf and...oh crap...I forget how the day went...Thanks for reading this...I don't miss hunting for eggs cause allthe chickens would peck us when we trid to take them from underneath them...
